Uttarakhand Approves Rs 1.11 Lakh Crore Budget, Bumper Vacancies Expected

•Uttarakhand cabinet approves a Rs 1.11 lakh crore budget for the financial year 2026-27, a 10% increase from last year.
•27 proposals passed in the Dhami cabinet meeting, including creation of new posts and policy approvals.
•Key approvals include new posts in UIIDB, Environmental Engineers in municipal corporations, and a State-of-the-art Apple Nursery Development Scheme.
•Swami Vivekananda Uttarakhand Library Scheme and Beekeeping Policy 2026 also received cabinet's nod.
•Significant amendments to nutrition schemes for children and women, and approval for Uniform Civil Code (Amendment) Bill, 2026.
