9 Lakhs Cash Seized from Bike Rider in Baruipur Ahead of Elections

•Police recovered approximately 9 lakh rupees from a bike rider, Samad Ali Sardar, during a naka checking in Baruipur's Jayatala area.
•The bike was traveling from Tilpi towards Kurali when police became suspicious and stopped the vehicle.
•This incident occurred just before the elections, raising concerns about the source and purpose of the large sum of cash.
•Separately, over 2.95 lakh rupees were recovered from an Assam-registered car in Alipurduar town, with 2 lakh found in a hidden compartment.
•The Election Commission is maintaining strict vigilance across the state following the announcement of the election schedule.
