Malda Youth Busted in Darjeeling with Crores in Brown Sugar Hidden in Tiffin Boxes

Police foiled a drug smuggling plot in Naxalbari, Darjeeling, seizing brown sugar worth crores.
•
Abul Kashem from Baishnabnagar, Malda, was arrested at Rathkhola More with drugs hidden in 11 tiffin boxes.
•
Approximately 1 kg 118 grams of brown sugar was recovered from his backpack.
•
Kashem arrived by train from Malda, suspected of planning a drug exchange in the border area.
•
Naxalbari police will present him in Siliguri Sub-divisional Court for remand and further investigation.
