Student Trapped in Locked School Toilet, Teachers Oblivious; BDO Rushes to Scene

A second-grade student, Gaurav Tudu, was accidentally locked inside a school toilet after teachers dismissed school and went home.
•
The incident occurred at Anila Nandi Smriti Primary School in Gangarampur, South Dinajpur district.
•
The student climbed to a ventilator and shouted for help, eventually being heard by local youth Yusuf Ali who rescued him.
•
Gangarampur BDO Arpita Ghoshal and the headmaster arrived at the scene, with the BDO questioning the headmaster about the lapse.
•
Parents expressed outrage and warned of strict action if such negligence reoccurs, questioning teacher responsibility.
