PNB Account Holders Alert: Inactive Accounts Face Closure from April 16

Punjab National Bank (PNB) warns customers about inactive accounts with zero balance.

Accounts with no customer-initiated transactions for 3 years and zero balance will be closed from April 16, 2026.
•
Customers must visit a PNB branch before April 15, 2026, to update KYC and reactivate accounts.
•
A small transaction can also reactivate the account, but KYC is mandatory.
•
This move aligns with RBI regulations to prevent fraud and reduce administrative costs.
