Big Relief for Passengers: Change Boarding Station 5 Mins Before Departure!

Indian Railways to allow passengers to change their boarding station up to 5 minutes before train departure.
•
Currently, boarding station changes are not permitted after the first reservation chart is prepared (10-20 hours before departure).
•
This new flexibility will enable passengers to modify their boarding point just before the second reservation chart is finalized.
•
The Railway department has directed the Centre for Railway Information Systems (CRIS) to submit a report on the feasibility.
•
This move aims to provide greater convenience and flexibility for train travelers.
