Bengaluru Thunderstorm Alert: IMD Issues Yellow Alert for 11 Districts

•IMD forecasts heavy rain, thunder, and lightning for several districts, issuing a yellow alert for 11 districts.
•Depression over southwest Bay of Bengal to bring rain to southern interior, coastal, and Malnad regions for 2-3 days.
•Yellow alert issued for Bidar, Kalaburagi, Raichur, Vijayapura, Yadgir, Chikkamagaluru, Hassan, Kodagu, Mysuru, Mandya, and Chamarajanagar.
•Unseasonal rains in Vijayapura damaged grape, corn, and wheat crops, causing significant losses for farmers.
•Temperatures in North Karnataka may rise, with highs of 43-45°C in Raichur, Ballari, Kalaburagi, Yadgir; Bengaluru could reach 39-40°C.
