The 33.77 km greenfield corridor project, costing Rs 18,662.02 crore, includes a 15.79 km underwater tunnel.

Utilizes twin-tube TBM technology: one tube for road, one for rail, making it the second such project globally.
•
Significantly reduces travel time and distance between Gohpur and Numaligarh, currently a 240 km, six-hour journey.
•
Connects 11 economic centers, integrates air and water transport, and boosts connectivity for industrial and tourist hubs in the Northeast.
