•Asia's prominent Bhamashah Agricultural Produce Market in Kota receives approval for expansion after a decade-long wait.
•Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla's efforts secured land diversion of approximately 96 hectares for the expansion.
•The market area will increase from 280 bighas to about 900 bighas (142 hectares), allowing for modern facilities.
•Annual turnover is projected to jump from 6,000 crore rupees to 15,000 crore, with daily grain arrivals increasing significantly.
