Telangana Farmers Get Double Boost: Rythu Bharosa Funds & Oil Palm Unit Launch

CM Revanth Reddy to release Rythu Bharosa's second installment (Rs. 3,590 crores) for 70 lakh small farmers today, March 22, 2026.
•
Funds will be deposited into accounts of farmers with up to 1 acre, linked to Aadhaar, passbook, and bank account.
•
Inauguration of Telangana's largest oil palm processing unit (300 crores, 32 acres) in Narmetta, Siddipet district.
•
The unit can process 30 tonnes of fresh fruit bunches per hour, expandable to 120 tonnes, with a 4MW power plant.
•
Oil palm cultivation offers high profits, low water use, and government subsidies, aiming to make Telangana an oil palm hub.
