•The Family Court waived the 6-month 'cooling off period' for mutual consent divorce, granting an immediate decree.
•Parents, who arranged the wedding, handled the divorce proceedings via 'Power of Attorney' as the couple was abroad.
•The court's decision was based on the couple living separately for two years and no possibility of reconciliation, allowing them to start anew.
