Pune Metro to Extend to Khed-Shivapur, Connect Ring Road via Katraj

Pune Metro line from Swargate to Katraj will now extend directly to the proposed 'Ring Road' in the Khed-Shivapur toll plaza area.
•
The City Improvement Committee officially approved this extension on Friday, October 20th.
•
The expansion aims to alleviate severe traffic congestion and transform South Pune's public transport.
•
It will provide an eco-friendly alternative, save travel time, and divert traffic from outside the city via metro.
•
A detailed project report (DPR) will be prepared soon, fulfilling the dream of direct metro access to Shivapur.
