•Cybercriminals gained trust, obtained bank details during the online payment process, and transferred funds.
•The senior citizen realized the fraud after receiving a debit message for a large sum from their account.
•Kothrud Police have registered a case against unknown cyber thieves, and an investigation is ongoing.
