Pune Pipeline Repair Scam: Senior Citizen Swindled Out of 7 Crores

•A senior citizen in Pune was defrauded of 6.70 crore rupees under the pretext of sewage line repair.
•The accused, Sandeep alias Sonu alias Aditya Chavan alias Thakur, posed as a PMC contractor.
•He extorted money for two years using false reasons like municipal permissions, challans, machinery costs, and personal emergencies.
•The victim, a retired officer from Narayan Peth, filed a complaint at Vishrambaug Police Station.
•Police suspect a large gang is involved; the accused is in custody until February 28.
