•Varieties include popular types like Alphonso, Langra, Kesar, and hybrids named after public figures such as Narendra Modi, Aishwarya Rai, Sachin Tendulkar, and Amitabh Bachchan.
•Khan, a Padma Shri recipient, developed this grafting technique over decades, starting his journey after leaving school in Class 7.
