ADB Pledges USD 10 Billion to Pakistan for 2026-30 Strategy
•The Asian Development Bank (ADB) will provide approximately USD 10 billion in financing to Pakistan over the next five years.
•This funding is part of ADB's 2026-30 Country Partnership Strategy (CPS2026-30), launched to support Pakistan's transition to sustainable and inclusive growth.
•The strategy focuses on three key pathways: enabling private sector development, advancing inclusion and empowerment, and enhancing resilience and sustainability.
•It aims to address Pakistan's structural challenges, promote robust growth, and create jobs through strategic investments and reforms.
•The CPS also identifies transformative opportunities in critical minerals, railways, energy security, and skills development.
