Pakistan Secures $10 Billion ADB Aid Amidst Economic Crisis

•Pakistan to receive approximately $10 billion (92 thousand crore rupees) from the Asian Development Bank (ADB) over the next 4 years.
•The aid is part of Pakistan's 2026-30 Country Partnership Strategy (CPS 2026-30), launched by ADB.
•The strategy focuses on private sector development, inclusion, empowerment, and strengthening resilience and sustainability.
•ADB Country Director Emma Fan stated the new CPS aims to address structural challenges and promote long-term growth, benefiting the poor.
•Pakistan's economy has stabilized, with GDP growth of 3.1% in FY2024-25 and inflation dropping to 4.5%.
