•The compensation was distributed ahead of the Ugadi festival.
•Naidu reaffirmed commitment to complete Polavaram, calling it the "lifeline of the state."
•Total compensation paid over 21 months reached Rs 1,943 crore, including previous payments during Sankranti and Diwali.
•Construction, including the diaphragm wall, is progressing swiftly with revised plans, targeting completion before the next Godavari Pushkarams.
