Delhi Tribunal Awards Rs 1.21 Cr to Woman Who Lost Leg in 2016 Accident

•A Delhi Motor Accident Claims Tribunal awarded over Rs 1.21 crore as compensation to Renuka Bisht.
•Renuka Bisht, a resident of Narela, Delhi, suffered amputation of her left leg after a road accident on March 8, 2016.
•The accident occurred when a motorcycle, allegedly driven rashly and negligently, hit her two-wheeler.
•She sustained grievous injuries, leading to 75% permanent disability due to the amputation of her left leg at the knee joint.
•Presiding Officer Richa Manchanda directed the motorcycle's insurer to deposit the awarded amount within 30 days.
