India Energy Stack to Pilot in 5 States by FY27 for Nationwide Rollout

India Energy Stack (IES), a digital public infrastructure for the power sector, will pilot in five states by FY27.
•
Nationwide rollout is planned after successful demonstration in FY 2026-27.
•
Pilot implementation will occur in Delhi, Gujarat, Andhra Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, and Mumbai.
•
Rs 51.3 crore is allocated for IES development, with Rs 3.88 crore already released.
•
IES aims to standardize, secure, and integrate the electricity value chain, addressing fragmented systems.
