•A Kohima court sentenced Lezo Seletsu (49) to life imprisonment for murdering his 33-year-old brother.
•The crime occurred on August 20, 2023, where Seletsu shot his brother with a firearm.
•Accused absconded after the crime but was later arrested; the firearm used was recovered.
•The court observed the victim was walking away after an altercation when shot from behind.
•Sentenced under IPC Section 302 to rigorous life imprisonment and a Rs 10,000 fine.
