Priyanka Gandhi urges Centre: Clear Jal Jeevan Mission dues now!

•Priyanka Gandhi Vadra urged the central government to clear outstanding dues for work under the Jal Jeevan Mission.
•She wrote to Union Minister of Jal Shakti C R Patil, requesting immediate release of payments to contractors.
•Rs 133.27 crore in arrears are pending in Wayanad district alone, where she is the Congress MP.
•Non-clearance of dues has stalled ongoing projects and deterred contractors from taking up new work.
•Gandhi emphasized releasing funds quickly as the project has been extended until 2028.
