States Raise Rs 46,100 Crore via RBI Auction, Exceeding Notified Amount

States collectively raised Rs 46,100 crore through RBI's yield/price-based auction of State Government Securities (SGS).

This amount exceeded the notified sum of Rs 44,550 crore, indicating additional subscriptions in select securities.

16 State Governments participated, utilizing fresh issuances and re-issues with maturities from three to 28 years.

Andhra Pradesh, Bihar, Gujarat, Karnataka, Maharashtra, and Tamil Nadu were among the states with significant issuances.
