Tamil Nadu Polls: Seizures Hit Rs 75 Crore Amidst Intensified Enforcement

•CEO Archana Patnaik announced seizures worth Rs 75.03 crore in Tamil Nadu ahead of Assembly polls.
•Intensified enforcement measures are in place to curb illegal inducements like cash, liquor, and drugs.
•Seizures include Rs 23.74 crore in cash, Rs 0.51 crore in liquor, and Rs 5.63 crore in drugs/narcotics.
•Precious metals worth Rs 23.19 crore and other items/freebies worth Rs 21.96 crore were also seized.
•EC has deployed 136 general, 40 police, and 151 expenditure observers across 234 constituencies for transparency.
