India gets massive LPG relief: 92,700 tons cross Strait of Hormuz, gas shortage to ease

•Two Indian ships, Shivalik and Nanda Devi, carrying 92,700 metric tons of LPG, successfully passed the Strait of Hormuz.
•The LPG consignment, equivalent to 6.8 million cylinders, is heading to Mundra and Kandla ports, expected by March 16-17.
•The crucial Strait of Hormuz passage was affected by West Asia tensions; India imports 60% of its LPG from Gulf countries.
•Government assures continuous supply, urging against panic booking, and has increased domestic LPG production by 31%.
•India is in continuous diplomatic contact with West Asian nations to ensure safe passage for energy-related ships.
