LPG Relief Arrives! Shivalik Tanker Docks Near Mundra Port with 44,000 MT Gas
•
Giant 'Shivalik' vessel carrying 44,000 metric tons of LPG arrived near Mundra Port, Kutch from Hormuz.
•
The tanker is currently 10 nautical miles from Mundra Port; tugs and a pilot have been dispatched for safe reception.
•
20,000 metric tons of LPG will be unloaded at Mundra Port and piped directly to the IOCL bottling plant.
•
The remaining 24,000 metric tons of gas will be transported by 'Shivalik' to Mangalore.
•
This supply is expected to strengthen cooking gas availability, alleviate shortages, and accelerate distribution.
