Namma Metro Green Line Gets 6-Coach Upgrade: End of Peak-Hour Crowding?

•First "Made in India" 6-coach train from Titagarh Rail Systems arrives at Peenya Depot for Namma Metro Green Line.
•Aims to reduce wait times and ease peak-hour congestion for Bengaluru commuters.
•Undergoing 8 weeks of rigorous safety and performance testing, including 750 km trial runs.
•Expected to launch by May or June; second Titagarh train and a China prototype also arriving.
•Part of a larger fleet expansion, including 7 trains for Yellow Line and 18 for Purple/Green lines.
