Coal India's CMPDI IPO Opens March 20: Price Band, Key Details Revealed

Central Mine Planning and Design Institute Ltd (CMPDI) launches its ₹1,842 crore IPO from March 20-24.
•
The price band for the issue is fixed at ₹163 to ₹172 per share; retail investors can bid for 80 shares (min ₹13,760).
•
The IPO is entirely an Offer for Sale (OFS) of 10.71 crore equity shares; funds will go to selling shareholders (government and Coal India).
•
CMPDI is India's largest coal and mineral consultancy, holding 61% market share in FY25, with strong financials.
•
Shares are tentatively scheduled to list on BSE and NSE on March 30.
