SBI MF plans mega ₹13,000 crore IPO; DRHP filing by March end
•
SBI Fund Management, India's largest asset management company, plans a mega IPO worth approximately ₹13,000 crore.
•
Company aims to file its Draft Red Herring Prospectus (DRHP) by the end of March to avoid re-auditing financial records.
•
The IPO will be an Offer For Sale (OFS), with State Bank of India selling about 6.3% stake and Amundi also offloading shares.
•
Proposed valuation is around ₹1.3 lakh crore, with a P/E ratio of 51x, slightly higher than ICICI Prudential AMC.
•
9 merchant bankers, including Bank of America, Kotak, and HSBC, have been appointed to manage the issue.
