NSE to launch Gold 10gms futures from March 2026: Check contract details
•National Stock Exchange (NSE) will introduce Gold 10 grams futures contracts in its commodity derivatives segment starting March 16, 2026.
•The contract, approved by SEBI, will be available in monthly series, offering smaller-denomination gold futures trading.
•Key details include a trading unit of 10 grams, ex-Ahmedabad pricing, a tick size of ₹1 per 10 grams, and a maximum order size of 10 kg.
•Trading hours are Monday to Friday, 9:00 am to 11:30 pm/11:55 pm, with expiry on the last calendar day of the month.
•The contract features a 6% base daily price limit, initial margin based on volatility/SPAN, and compulsory delivery of 999 purity gold from LBMA-approved or NSE-approved suppliers.
