•A shocking incident occurred in Mumbai's Andheri area where a husband brutally assaulted his wife and son.
•Santosh Rawate, 44, attacked his wife Nita Rawate, 48, with a machete during a domestic dispute over her watching a mobile phone.
•Nita sustained severe injuries to her hands, fingers, and head; their seven-year-old son was also injured while intervening.
•Neighbors intervened after hearing Nita's screams and informed the police, preventing further harm.
•Santosh Rawate has been arrested by MIDC Police and charged with attempted murder; the injured are stable and receiving treatment.
