Jamnagar Man Loses ₹2.24 Lakh in Online Shopping Fraud After Sharing OTP

Kishan Gondaliya, a laborer from Jamnagar, lost ₹2.24 lakh while trying to order a ₹629 plastic table on the Meesho app.
•
His initial order was canceled, and he called a number for a refund, where a fraudster named 'Krunal Kumar' tricked him.
•
The fraudster gained Kishan's trust and asked for an OTP to process the refund or reorder.
•
Upon receiving the OTP, fraudsters gained access to Kishan's bank account and siphoned off ₹2,24,627 in installments.
•
Kishan filed a complaint at Jamnagar City C-Division Police Station; police are investigating using technical surveillance and mobile numbers.
