India Repatriates 30 Seafarers in 24 Hours; Persian Gulf Nationals Safe

30 Indian seafarers successfully repatriated to India in the last 24 hours, bringing the total to 253.
•
Rajesh Kumar Sinha, Special Secretary, Ministry of Ports, Shipping and Waterways, confirmed all Indian nationals in the Persian Gulf are safe.
•
Six LPG carriers from various regions received priority berthing at major ports; 24 Indian-flagged vessels operate west of the Strait of Hormuz.
•
LPG carriers Shivalik and Nanda Devi safely crossed the Strait of Hormuz, expected at Mundra Port on March 16 and Kandla Port on March 17.
•
The DG Shipping Communication Center handled over 2,500 calls and 5,000 emails in the last 15 days, working beyond its usual capacity.
