Owaisi Slams Arrest of 14 Muslims for Iftar on Ganga Boat: 'Does Sewage Not Hurt You?'

AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi criticized the arrest of 14 Muslim youths for allegedly breaking their fast on a boat in the Ganga River.
•
Owaisi questioned the grounds for claiming religious sentiments were hurt, asking if sewage dumped in the Ganga doesn't cause offense.
•
He alleged discrimination, stating the youths were targeted because they are Muslims and their only 'crime' was their identity.
•
The youths were arrested after a BJP Yuva Morcha leader complained about them eating biryani and allegedly throwing leftovers into the river.
•
The complainant, Rajat Jaiswal, claimed the act hurt Hindu religious sentiments as Ganga is sacred.
