Thane Builder Receives Rs 10 Crore Extortion Threat from 'Bishnoi Group'

A prominent Thane builder filed an FIR after receiving extortion threats of Rs 10 crore.
•
The callers claimed to be part of the 'Bishnoi group' and threatened death if the money wasn't paid.
•
The builder received WhatsApp calls on February 11 while in Madhya Pradesh and again on February 20 from an international number.
•
An audio clip containing death threats was also sent to the builder's mobile phone.
•
An FIR was registered under Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita for extortion; no arrests have been made yet.
