Electrocution Tragedy: Two Lives Lost in Kamareddy's Vadlam Village
•Two villagers, Mammuri Nagayya (48) and Pasupula Lakshmi (41), died from electrocution in separate incidents on the same day in Vadlam village, Kamareddy district.
•Nagayya was electrocuted while ironing clothes, and Lakshmi died when electricity passed from her house's corrugated sheets to a wardrobe.
•Locals blame official negligence, citing unresolved earthing problems in the village for two years despite repeated complaints to the electricity department.
•Villagers are demanding Rs. 1 crore compensation for each family, a government job for one member of Nagayya's family, and immediate resolution of the village's electricity issues.
•Police have registered a case and are investigating the incidents; bodies were sent for post-mortem.
