•His wife, Suchala Dutta, stated he was worried about losing his old-age pension and had been under immense mental stress.
•The family strongly claims his death was solely caused by the worry over the voter list deletion.
•Over 57,000 names have been deleted in Nadia district following SIR, with 2.5 lakh more under judicial review.
•Local public representatives have come forward to support the grieving family.
