•The Majiwada to Vadpe stretch of the Mumbai-Nashik Highway is 83% complete.
•This 23.80 km project is a crucial link to the Samruddhi Mahamarg.
•The road is expected to open for traffic by the end of May.
•Opening will significantly reduce monsoon traffic congestion in Thane and Bhiwandi.
•Project, started in 2021 by MSRDC, will ease travel for heavy vehicles and local residents.
