Thailand Hikes Airport Departure Charges by 53% from June 2026

Airports of Thailand (AOT) announced a 53% increase in Passenger Service Charge (PSC) for international outbound travelers.
•
The fee will rise from 730 baht to 1,120 baht per passenger, effective June 20, 2026.
•
The higher PSC applies to six major international airports: Suvarnabhumi, Don Mueang, Phuket, Chiang Mai, Hat Yai, and Chiang Rai.
•
The increase aims to fund infrastructure upgrades, expand airport capacity, and modernize facilities.
•
The charge will be automatically included in ticket prices; domestic PSC remains unchanged.
