Rs 2.38 Cr Fake Notes Seized in Ahmedabad, 7 Arrested Including Yoga Teacher

•Ahmedabad police seized high-quality counterfeit Indian currency worth Rs 2.38 crore and apprehended seven individuals.
•The accused, including a Surat-based spiritual and yoga teacher, were caught with 42,000 fake Rs 500 notes in an SUV.
•Further investigation led to the seizure of an additional Rs 28 lakh in fake currency and printing equipment from a house in Surat.
•Mukesh Thummar, the alleged kingpin, arranged equipment and raw materials, with counterfeit currency being printed for four months.
•The racket used security thread paper from Chinese sources and AI-based platforms like ChatGPT for design refinement.
